  2. Like blaming the bankers it’s easy enough to describe different threats to democracy but not so easy to see how democracy in the form we are used to can be improved. Revolutions, and that is what may be required, have started with this kind of dissatisfaction but it takes visionary leadership to make change happen and we are rather off those since Hitler and Lenin. We are left then tinkering with the notion of an idealized democracy which may be unachievable.
